VF5 Really is the best game ever made

I played this with The Dazzler in a fucking hot room for six hours on Saturday. I’ve been trying to stay away, but the minute I was in front of a PS3 and a 48inch Bravia, what the fuck else was I going to do? Here’s an exerpt from an email I sent to my mum:
I had to play on a pad, but you know what? After 10 minutes, it really didn’t matter. I couldn’t do a 1-frame knee or a DLC, but it made my Lau ferocious. He was fucking horrific, but then he had to be to lock down Dazzler’s Brad, who will seriously fuck you up if you give him too big a frame advantage. Vanessa so is SICK too. I can’t wait to learn the stance transitions. I’ve got a decent grounding in defensive, so I did a lot of offensive work. She’s so fucking brutal. Such a cunt. It’s all about getting in the F+P+K. It goes FNNNNGGGG.

    Anyway, yeah, some immense battles. Suffered badly from Lau mixup panics, forgotten move sets and resorting to repeated LP abuse to MAKE IT MINE. All too good, rly.
